Practical Training Schedule

GSES Accreditation courses run in three different variants:

• Design Only (for engineers and electricians) – fully online self-paced, start anytime
• Design & Install (for electricians) – primarily online with some face-to-face, start anytime
• Install Only (for electricians) – primarily online with some face-to-face, start anytime

Learners of the Design & Install and Install Only courses must attend a face-to-face practical session to complete their course. They can only book their place in a practical after completing a majority of the online work – please refer to the Course Information and Policies for the specific course. The booking is done by the student through the online student portal within the course. Bookings are made on a first come, first serve basis, spots cannot be held. If a date is shown below it does not necessarily mean it will still be available in a months time as spots fill up quickly.

The scheduled practical sessions for 2026 are listed below. All practical days start at 8am and finish at 5pm. Practical session dates are subject to minimum and maximum numbers. Scheduled practical session dates may change if the number of registered students in a session is below the minimum. Fees apply for rescheduling or cancelling within 14 days of the practical start date. Please see the Course Information and Policies for more details on practical sessions for your course.
